Join Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn for a Tudor Celebration at Acton Court with ‘The Tudor Players’ and ‘The Merchants House Musicians’ on the last weekend of our summer opening.
King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn visit Acton Court on their 1535 summer progress. Some of their courtiers and musicians accompany them and provide entertainment for our important guests. There will be formal and folk dancing along with some Tudor songs accompanied by the Merchant House Musicians.
As well as visiting Acton Court’s house and grounds, visitors will have the opportunity to converse with the King and Queen, participate in some of the activities and enjoy a taste of Tudor fare.
