The Perry Almshouses Charitable Trust is looking for a self-employed Administrator with effect from 23rd April 2024 to manage the day-to-day operations of the Grade II listed Almshouses which are located on Dragon Road in Winterbourne.

Hours will be c.312 per annum and will be spread throughout the year at an average of 6 hours per week. You will need to be on-call 24/7 for emergencies only. Fees should be in the range of £20-£25 per hour depending on experience.

The contract specification includes:

  • Clerk to Trustees –Trustee support with meetings (four evening meetings per year - agendas, board packs, minutes, matters arising); regulatory submissions; policies and procedures; grant applications

  • Property Management – Responsive repairs; cyclical servicing and maintenance; void turnaround; quinquennial surveys; programmed works; H&S checks; insurance management

  • Resident Support – Allocations; engagement; signposting; visits & contact; welfare; safeguarding; surveys; newsletter publication

  • Financial Management – accounts management; drafting annual report & accounts; savings and investment management
